Was Daughter of Late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Anderson - Mrs. William A. Matheson passed away at her home, Wellington Crescent, Winnipeg, Man. on Friday, October 9, 1942. The late Mrs. Matheson, whose maiden name was Jessie Anderson, was the youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Anderson of Ayr. She was a native of Ayr and was educated in schools in Ayr, Windsor and Toronto. For a number of years she taught school in Ayr, in Bolton and Winnipeg. In the latter city she was considered quite an outstanding teacher. Her husband, the late W. A. The late Fergus Anderson of Ayr was also a brother. The funeral of the late Mrs. Matheson was held Tuesday afternoon from her late residence. Interment took place in Elmwood Cemetery, Winnipeg.
