    • BABCOCK, John C. -- At the Henderson Hospital, Hamilton, on Wednesday, April 2, 1980, after a brief illness, John Babcock, in his 80th year. Born in Ayr, Ont., and formerly of Kitchener. Husband of the former Louise Flowers; father of Leonard of Ancaster and Mrs. Grace Riley of Temple City, Calif.; brother of Lloyd Babcock, Mrs. Loretta Wuest, both of Sarasota, Fla., and Edna (Mrs. George Wagner), Zella (Mrs. Harold Heer), both of Kitchener and Leona (Mrs. Charles Scheel) of Warren, Mich. Goodrich Canada Inc. and a member of their 25 year club. Five grandchildren also survive. He was predeceased by one son, Donald, in infancy; three sisters and four brothers. Funeral service today at 2 p.m., at the J.B. Marlatt Funeral Home, 615 Main St. E., Hamilton.1a
