A resident of the town all his life, with the exception of a short time he spent in Drayton where he and his brother Charles were engaged in the hotel business, the late Mr. Bleiler became prominently idenified with many orginisations and causes. His greatest interest probably was in sport, hockey was one of his favorites. Showing his love for the winter game, he was largely instrumental in the formation of the local arena company.
