    • Death of the Late Mrs. James Hetherington

Formerly of Galt, on Friday afternoon, Little & Son, undertakers, Ainslie street, were notified by John Hetherington, of St. Catharines, that Mrs. Jas. Hetherington had died at her home in Chicago, telling them to arrange for the burial of the body, in Mount View Cemetery, here. The deceased was the relict of the late James Hetherington and with her husband lived in Galt until some years ago, when they removed to Chicago. She was well known here and had as many friends in town as her popular husband. At her death she was about 60 years years old. A short time prior to her demise she had a limb amputated and this may have been accountable for her demise. She was as highly esteemed where she lived as she had been in Galt. She was an earnest and zealous church worker, was connected with societies for moral and intellectual advancement of the people and during her life accomplished that which will long make her memory revered and loved. Three sons and one daughter survive their mother. The former, Charles, James and John, of Chicago, have a photographic studio in that city and are prosperous business men. The daughter is Mrs. Leask Ross, of Chicago. A sister is also living In the person of Mrs. Dunlop, of Hamilton. John Hetherington of St. Catharines, who is known to many here, is a nephew of the late Mrs. Hetherington.
