    • Mrs. Vera Barnes

      New Hamburg - Mrs. Vera Barnes, 57, formerly of New Hamburg, died Wednesday in St. Peter's Infirmary, Hamilton, where she had been for the past two years. Born in New Hamburg, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John E. Bingeman. She was a member of Zion Evangelical United Brethern Church, Women's Society for World Service and New Hamburg Women's Institute. Her husband, Harry, died in 1951. Surviving are six brothers, Harold and Stanley, both of Woodstock, Lloyd of Buffalo, Nyle of Toronto, and Pearlous and Jack, both of St. Thomas; and two sisters, Mrs. Homer (Marion) Watson of Moncton, N. B., and Mrs. Wilson (Edith) Dunlop of Dundas. The body is at the Futher Omand Funeral Home, New Hamburg, until Saturday noon. Service will be conducted at Zion EUB Church at 2:30 p.m. by Rev. F. Paul Erb. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg.
