  • Notes
    • Frank Johnson was the eldest son of Thomas Johnson & Rebeccas Mallard who emmigrated from England in 1853 and 1857 respectively. He is listed as a brick mason from Drumbo, Ontario at the time of his marriage to Jennie Wegenast, my maternal great grandmother. Frank & Jennie had 5 children, the last of which was born in 1905. Sometime around 1911, Frank left his family to go out west (perhaps Saskatchewan) likely to earn money to support his family. He is listed on the 1911 census and signed his mother' death certificate in Jan of that year. He never returned and the family rarely spoke of him.
