      Mrs. Joseph C. Snyder

      Death claimed an esteemed nonagenerian of this district at 7.30 o'clock last night at the home of her son, Jacob B. Snyder on the Naches road in the person of Mrs. Elizabeth C. Snyder, widow of the late Mr. Joseph C. Snyder in her 93rd year. Death came as the result of an accident which occurred last week when Mrs. Snyder fell fracturing a limb. The late Mrs. Snyder was born in Doon and lived in this district her entire life, residing for 74 years on the farm where she passed away. She is survived by three sons and one daughter, Mr. Isadore Snyder of Kitchener, Mrs. John McNally of Kitchener, Mr. Jacob Snyder of the Naches road, and Mr. Lincoln Snyder of Winnipeg. She was predeceased by two daughters, Lavina, who passed away in 1868 and Mrs. Stauffer Shantz who died in February of this year. The funeral will take place with a private service at the home of her son, Mr. Jacob Snyder on Monday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock and will proceed thence to the Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church for public service. Internment will be made in the East End Mennonite cemetery. Rev. U. K. Weber, pastor of the Stirling avenue Mennonite Church will have charge of the service.2a
