    Passed away with family at her side at Lisaard House on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at the age of 66. Beloved wife of Gary George. Loving mother of Candy Thompson and Tammy-Jean Walsh. Proud Nana of Brooke, Dylan, Ben, Bailey and Madison. Sadly missed by her furry companion Robbie. Predeceased by her husband Brian Hall (2007). Dear sister of Richard Maxwell (Kimberley), Tracy Phillips and Scott Maxwell (predeceased - 2017) (Sharon). Lovingly supported by Bev and Rick Dulle and Anita and Larry Storer.

    Karen's family will receive relatives and friends from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, 2019 and from 3-3:45 p.m. on Monday, June 24, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.     ROBERT SANDERS

    On Wednesday, October 5, on old and well known former resident of Wellesley in the person of Mr. Robt. Sanders passed away after nine months illness at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Henry Franklin, 3rd line Maryborough. He was born on December 9, 1854, at Lefroy, near Toronto, where he spent the early portion of his life and later at Markdale and while still a young man he came to Wellesley where he met and married Katharine Kink and took up residence in Wellesley village where he was for many years employed at the Reiner Wooller Mills. Upon the death of his wife in 1921 he lived and was employed at Waterloo. After his retirement he lived with different members of his family for short periods and finally three years ago went to the home of his daughter where he remained until his death. The funeral took place on Saturday, October 8, from the home of Mr. H. Franklin, 3rd line, Maryborough, to the family plot in the cemetery on the 3rd line, Wellesley. The pallbearers were his sons J. A. Sanders and R. S. Sanders, his sons-in-law H. Franklin, J. Duench, H. Underwood and ?. Hackett. Those surviving are one brother Thomas in the United States and one sister, Mrs. Maryann Lowes of St. Catherine's; two sons and five daughters, (Allice) Mrs. H. Franklin, Maryborough; (Pearl) Mrs. J. Thair, in Manitoba; (Maryann) Mrs. J. Duench, Milverton; J. A. Sanders, Waterloo; (Ethel) Mrs. H. Underwood, Bridgeport; (Florence) Mrs. C. Hackett, 9th line Wellesley; R. S. Sanders, Moorefield. The late Mr. Sanders is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

    Robert married Catherine Fink 26 Dec 1888.     Following a long and painful illness from that dreaded disease cancer there passed away at her home in Wellesley on Thursday, Nov. 24th, Catharine Fink, beloved wife of Mr. Robert Sanders, in her 63rd year. Although confined to her bed for five months previous to her death she was a patient sufferer and trusted faithfully in eternal rest. She was married to her surviving husband on Dec. 26th, 1888, the union was blessed with two sons and five daughters; namely: J. H. Sanders, Waterloo, and Robert at home; Alice (Mrs. H. Frankln), Maryboro' Township; Pearl (Mrs. G. Daniells), Windsor; Mary Ann (Mrs. John Duench), Milverton; Ethel (Mrs. H. Underwood), Bridgeport, and Florence at home. Three sons died in infancy. Thirteen grandchildren and three brothers, George, Henry and Duncan Fink and two sisters, Mrs. Pieper and Mrs. H. Miller also survive. She was born in Wellesley Township where she lived all her life and was a devoted member of the Evangelical Church in which she was an earnest worker. As a kind and loving mother the welfare of her family was always to her an important factor. The funeral which was conducted by Rev. Henrich, of North Easthope, took place from the family residence on Sunday, Nov. 27th, to the third line cemetery. The remains were borne to the grave by her son, J. A. Sanders, and five sons-in-law. She is gone from our sight but in our memory she still lives.
