    BOSHART, Melvin L. - Passed away, peacefully, to meet the Lord at his residence in Crosshill, on Saturday, July 21, 2007. Melvin was born in Wilmot Centre 75 years ago. Son of the late Noah Boshart and the late Victoria Wagler. Melvin was a faithful member of the Crosshill Mennonite Church. Mel was the founder of Boshart Industries Inc. and celebrated 50 years in business in 2005. He retired in 2006 due to poor health. Cherished husband of Eileen Boshart (Zehr) of Crosshill. Loving father of Gary and his wife Gloria Boshart of R.R. 1, Milverton, Joyce and her husband Myron Jantzi of Wellesley and Jayne Boshart and her fiancee Jim Mullins of Listowel. Dear brother of Roy and Willetta Boshart of New Hamburg, Orlin Boshart of Tavistock, Verna and Christian Wagler of Wilmot Centre. Brother-in-law of Lydia Zehr of Baden. Ever remembered by his grandchildren, Krista Boshart, Jeremy Kuepfer, Jessica, Julianne and Daniel Jantzi, Nicole and Erin Hartung and Rebekah Boshart. Predeceased by a daughter, Joan; by two brothers-in-law, Lloyd and Ervin Zehr and a sister, Dorothy and sister-in-law, Norma Zehr. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home , 1172 Henry St. in Wellesley where family and friends were received on Sunday and will be received today (Monday) from 7-9 p.m. only. At noon on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 removal will be made to the Crosshill Mennonite Church for the funeral service at 2 p.m. Pastor Jamie Gerber will officiate. Interment will follow in Rush's Cemetery. Memorials to the Crosshill Mennonite Church Building Fund, or to the Mennonite Central Committee or to the Regional Lung Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

On Jan. 21, 1920, he was married to Victoria Wagler, who died on Nov. 21, 1971. Surviving are 2 daughters (Dorothy Boshart and Verna Wagler), 3 sons (Elroy, Orlin, and Mel), 11 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. He was a member of Steinmann Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on July 13, in charge of Vernon Zehr, Elmer Schwartzentruber, and Fred Lichti; interment in Steinmann Mennonite Cemetery.

    BOSHART, Noah S. -- On Thursday, July 10, 1986, at People Care Centre, Tavistock, Noah Boshart, age 97, formerly of Wilmot Centre. He was a member of Steinman Mennonite Church, RR 2, Baden and enjoyed many years serving the public in his plumbing and repair business. Beloved husband of the former Victoria Wagler who predeceased him November 21, 1971; dear father of Dorothy Boshart of Wellesley, Orlin of Wellesley, Elroy and his wife Willetta of New Hamburg, Verna of RR 2, Baden, Melvin and Bertha Boshart of New Hamburg. Also survived by several nieces and Nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, the late Christian Boshart and Maria Schwartzentruber, one sister Mrs. Veronica Hartung and one grandchild, Joan. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., after 7 p.m. this evening and until noon Sunday, July 13, when transfer will be made to Steinman Mennonite Church for service at 3 p.m., with Pastor Fred Lichti officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

    Sarah was born in Crosshill 96 years ago. Daughter of the late Rudolph Bast and the late Elizabeth Boshart.

    Mrs. Zehr was a member of the Maple View Mennonite Church, where she was active with the sewing circle. She was also an avid quilter.
    Loving mother of Eileen and her husband Melvin Boshart of Crosshill. Mother-in-law of Lydia Zehr of RR 1, Millbank. Ever remembered by her sisters, Matilda Frey of Waterloo and June Hackett of Waterloo. Sister-in- law of Nancy Bast of Wellesley. Cherished grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

    Predeceased by her husband, Simon S. Zehr (September 19, 1975); by three brothers, Aaron, Hubert and Samuel Bast; also two sons, Lloyd (2000) and Irvin (1965); by three sisters, Rachel Gerber, Clara Gerber and Lucinda Bast and by brothers-in-law, Jacob Gerber, John Gerber. Hubert Frey, Emmerson Bast and Russel Hackett.

    Visitation at the Futher Bros. Fu- neral Home, 1172 Henry St., Wellesley, where family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral service will be conducted at the Maple View Mennonite Church on Wednesday, May 7, 2003 at 2 p.m. Pastor Bruce Sawatsky will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

    Following an illness of four days, Christian R. Boshart, Wilmot Centre, passed away on Monday, October 15, 1934 at the home of his son. Mr. Boshart, who was predeceased by his wife 19 years ago, was in his 84th year. Surviving are one son, Noah, one daughter, Mrs. Gordon Hartung, Phillipsburg, and nine grandchildren. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon with private services at the home at 1 o'clock and thence to Steinman's A.M. Church at Baden for public services at 2: 30. Interment will take place in the adjoining cemetery.

    Isaac Wagler

    BADEN, Aug. 14. - The death occurred at St. Agatha yesterday of Isaac Wagler, 75 The deceased was born in Wilmot Township, Jan. 18, 1872. His death followed a lingering illness. He was a son of the late Christian and Magdalene Wagler.

    Surviving are his widow, Catherine Litwiller; two sons, Elmer of New Hamburg, Ervin of St. Agatha: 3 eight daughters Mrs. Noah (Victoria) Boshart, Baden, Mrs. John (Ida) Dietz, Waterloo, Mrs. John (Katie) Leis. New Hamburg. Mrs. Elmer (Mattie) Schwartzentruber, Baden, Mrs. Eli (Sarah) Zehr, St. Agatha. Mrs. Erie (Vera) Schulz, Kitchener, Mrs. Ervin (Verna) Zehr, Milver- ton, Mrs. Jonas (Laura) Wagler, St. Agatha; two sisters, Mrs. Jonathan Jantzi, Kitchener, and Mrs. C. B. Jantzi, Pine Hill. Thirty-nine grand- children and two great grandchildren survive. Two sisters, two brothers and two grandchildren predeceased him.

    A service will be held at the home of his son-in-law, Eli Zehr. St. Agatha at 2:00p.m., Saturday. A public service will be held at the St. Agatha A.M. Church. Interment will be made in St. Agatha A.M Cemetery. Rev. Benjamin Gingerich will officiate.
