    Meyer, Emmanuel, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Meyer, was born in Zurich, Ont., June 16, 1895; died at the Freeport Sanatorium, after a lengthy illness, Oct. 20, 1957; aged 62 y. 4m. 4 d. Surviving are his mother, 3 sons (William, Mansfield, Pa.; Donald, Fairbanks, Alaska; and DeRoy Meyer Seibert, Covington, Pa.), 3 daughters (Annabelle-Mrs. Melvin Snyder, Baden, Ont.; Mary-Mrs. Laverne Snider and Sharon, both of Kitchener, Ont.), 2 brothers (Jacob, London, Ont.; and Jack, Kitchener, Ont.), 2 sisters (Mrs. Frank Brock, Toronto, and Mrs. Lorne Horst, Kitchener, Ont.), and 15 grandchildren. His wife (the former Julia Edwards) died in December, 1935. He was a member of the Zurich Mennonite Church. Fuenral services were held at the Ratz Funeral Home in charge of C. F. Derstine and Edgar Metzler. Burial in First Mennonite Church Cemetery.

    Meyer, John, Sr., was born in Zurich, Ont., March 20, 1864; died Oct. 13, 1954, at the K-W Hospital; aged 90 y. 6 m. 24 d. He was united in marriage to Leah Gascho on Oct. 8, 1895. He was a faithful member of First Mennonite Church, Kitchener, since his reception in March 1927. He will be remembered by his sincere, quiet interest in all things of God. He is survived by his wife, 3 sons (Emmanuel and John of Kitchener, and Jacob, of London). 2 daughters (Peril-Mrs. Frank Brock of Toronto, and Iona-Mrs. Lorrne Horst, of Kitchener), one brother (Jacob of Kitchener) 2 sisters (Mrs. David Gingerich of Zurich and Mrs. Menno Schwartzentruber of Kitchener), 20 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services held Oct. 16 at the First Mennonite Church were in charge of C. F. Derstine and J. H. Hess. Interment was made in the First Mennonite Cemetery at Kitchener.

    Moyer.-Jacob Moyer was born in France April 1, 1839; died June 11, 1931; aged 92 y. 2 m. 10 d. He came to Canada in 1856 and was married to Barbara Brenneman in 1858. She preceded him in death 11 years ago. He is survived by 3 sons, 4 daughters, 23 grandchildren, and 38 great-grandchildren. Many friends also mourn his departure. Though he was old he was not hard to please. His son-in-law, Menno Gasho, and wife did not hear a bitter word from his lips in all the time they took care of him. When in one's right mind, followers of Christ should be thus. Services were conducted t the house. Osias Cressman spoke from Jno. 14: 1-6. There were also services at the Steinman Church.
