RUDOW - JUNG - the home of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Jung, King Street, was the scene of a very pretty wedding on Thanksgiving Day, when their only daughter, Miss Emma, was united in marriage to Mr. Fred Rudow, second son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rudow, Sr. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. Strempfer at high noon under a beautiful arch decorated with smilax.

The bride was given away by her father and was attired in cream Duchess Monseline satin trimmed with Bebe Irish lace and pearls. She wore a veil in Juliet style also trimmed with pearls, and carried a shower bouquet of white Chrysanthemums. The bridesmaid, Miss Laura Sippel, was dressed in white mull over pale yellow satin with a Juliet cap to match and carried a bouquet of yellow chrysanthemums. The groom was attended by his brother William. The wedding march was placed by Miss Alma Dreisinger, piano, and Mr. Amandus Herz, violin. The groom's gift to the bride was a handsome set of furs, to the bridesmaid a fine brooch and to the best man a gold watch fob. Many valuable gifts from relatives and friends were received by the bridal couple.

After the ceremony the guests to the number of about fifty sat down to a sumptuous wedding dinner, the tables being beautifully decorated with carnations and smilax. During the dinner hour the guests were entertained with music by Miss Dreisinger and Mr. Herz. Among the guests from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Sanford, Toronto, Mr. and Mrs. Adam Sippel, and children, Berlin, Master Walter Battenberg, Wellesley. The happy couple left with the four o'clock CPR train for Toronto, Detroit, and other points, the bride travelling in a suit of navy blue broadcloth and black Valeur hat to match.
