    HUNSBERGER, Gladys S. Peacefully at the home of her loving daughter Lois, in Kitchener, on Friday, December 30, 2011, with John and Lois nearby. Gladys S. Hunsberger of London in her 94th year. A bright, beautiful and cheerful Lady. Loving mother of James and Dorothea of Waterloo, Lois and John Pickoski of Kitchener and Mark and Cheryl of London. Proud grandmother of James, Paul, Matt and Florence, Jason and Julie, Shawn and Kelly and Philip. Loved by her great-grandchildren Jacob, Kayla, Toby, Abby, Logan and Brooklyn. Dear sister of Mary and Ken Willsie of Waterloo and Avon Brophy of Antigonish, NS. Predeceased by her loving husband John A. (December 1, 2011), sweethearts for 83 years and married 70 of those loving years. At Gladys' request, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Gladys' Life will be held at London First Church of the Nazarene, 176 Wellington St., London, on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 1: 00 p.m. with Rev. Junior Sorzano officiating. Donations to the London First Church of the Nazarene gratefully acknowledged.     BECHTEL, Margaret - At Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Sunday, Oct. 19, 1986, Margaret Bechtel (Gingrich) of Sunnyside Home and formerly of 210 Fourth Ave., Kitchener, aged 85 years.

    Mrs. Bechtel was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, the Canadian Diabetes Association and the K-W Field Naturalists.

    Loving mother of Gladys (Mrs. John Hunsberger) of London, Ont., Mary (June) (Mrs. Kenneth Willsie) of Kitchener and Avon Burkholder of Antigonish, N.S. Also sadly missed by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her family.

    Predeceased by her parents; her husband, Owen Bechtel in 1969 and two brothers, Oscar and Menno.

    Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel, Wednesday at 2 p.m., with Pastor Peter Lanigan officiating. Interment Bridgeport Memorial cemetery.

    MANY PAY LAST RESPECTS

    Remains of Late Abram Gingrich Laid at Rest in Doon Cemetery The respect in which the late Abraham Gingrich, of Doon, was held was borne out by the many relatives and friends from far and near who attended the funeral on Tuesday afternoon. Rev. John Reichard, of Fordwich, conducted the service and was assisted by Rev. Isaiah Wismer and Rev. Simon Cober. The pall bearers were grandsons of the deceased, with one exception. Those from distance were his sons, Noah and Ephraim, of Huron County, Michigan: Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Gingrich. Mr. Milton Gingrich, Miss Ella Gingrich, and Mrs. Davidson, of Tyneside; Mr. and Mrs. James O. Gingrich. of Flamboro: deceased's only brother and sister. Mr. Jacob S. Gingrich, and Mrs. Nancy Bretz, of Waterloo Township. were also present.

    Heckendorn.-Maria Good was born in the township of Waterloo on Dec. 29, 1837, and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thomas Underwood, Bridgeport, Ont., Feb. 22, 1920. On June 27, 1858, she was married to John Heckendorn, who predeceased her about three years. To this union were born ten children, of whom eight are still living. She leaves 8 children, 47 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted on Feb. 25th from Bridgeport to the Cressman church, Breslau, Ont. Services were conducted by Oscar Burkholder.
