Weber. --- Josiah Weber, was born Oct. 13, 1864; died after an illness of a few months; aged 75 y. 6 m. 11 d. On Feb. 26, 1889, he was married to Mary Ann Lichty, who predeceased him in 1921. The Lord has been very gracious and longsuffering in lengthening out his days to a time during his last illness, in which he confessed Christ as his personal Saviour, desired baptism, and was received into the Church. And so we mourn not as those who have no hope. Bro. O. D. Snyder conducted the service. Interment in adjoining cemetery.

Reesor - John B. Reesor was born near Markham, Ont., in 1859 and died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Cober, near Almira, Ont., after a lingering illness of 6 months, on May 18, 1943, in his eighty-forth year. In 1882 he was married to Angeline Moyer, who predeceased him in 1918. To this union were born 4 daughters. Annie, Mrs. Geo. Cober; Ludina, Mrs. John Drudge; Mary, Mrs. Oscar Burkholder; Martha, Mrs. J.C. Fretz; who, with 17 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends mourn his departure. Bro. Reesor was ordained as a deacon in the Mennonite Church in 1895 and served faithfully until age and infirmity made it wise to relinquish his duties. When he realized that he could not serve as well as formerly, he called for help and another brother was ordained to carry on the work. He was a man of sterling character, honest and upright in all his dealings, a kindly husband and father, and a real testimony to the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ. The funeral was held on Friday morning, May 21, from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Geo. Cober, to the Wideman Church, near Markham, for services and the adjoining cemetery for burial. Brethren Fred Nighswander, Alvin Winger, and Jos. Cober conducted the services at the house, and the Brethren Abram Smith, Amsey Martin, and Ben. Good, Orrville, Ohio, conducted the services at the church and the grave. Texts: II Tim. 4: 6-8; Josh. 1: 1, 2.

Reesor.-Angeline Moyer was born at Jordan, Ont., June 3, 1861. She moved with her parents to Preston where they lived until her mother died. Later her father came to Cherrywood where she spent the greater part of her life. She was united in marriage in 1882 with John B. Reesor who survives her. This union was blest with 4 daughters who, with the father, mourn this loss. Both she and her husband were baptized and received into the Mennonite Church in 1885. The husband was afterwards called to the office of deacon and she ably supported him in his work. As a Christian woman, a wife, mother, and neighbor she deserves the highest respect. About five months ago she was taken ill with cancer of the liver which disease also caused her death. She peacefully passed away at her home in Mt. Joy on Nov. 22, 1918, aged 57 y. 5 m. 19 d. She gave strong evidence of a triumphant hope in Jesus. The funeral was very largely attended at the Wideman Church on the 24th. The service was conducted in two languages by the brethren, Levi Grove, Thomas Reesor, and L. J. Burkholder1a
