    LITT, Oliver George Henry - Passed away, peacefully, at St. Mary's General Hospital. Kitchener, on Sunday, March ,17, 2002, at the age of 87 years.

    Beloved husband for 62 years of Laurene (Pfanner). Loving father of Frederick and his wife Diane of Kitchener and Dr. James and his wife Rita of Timmins. Sadly missed by his grand-children, Darrin and Tracy Litt of Kitchener, Steven Litt and Leslie Asmussen and son Landon of Kitchener, Christopher Litt, Jason and Berta Litt, Julianne and Terry Power of Timmins, and his great-grandchild, Athens Power of Timmins. Survived by one brother, Lloyd and his wife Lois of Ayton and one sister, Florence Girodat and her husband Bill of Kitchener. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Edna Litt of Clifford, Kaye Pfanner of Waterloo, brother-in-jaw, Russ Pfanner and his wife Marge of Waterloo and many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by Carolyn Litt.

    Predeceased by a son in infancy; his parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Litt; his brothers, Harry, Earl, Joseph, Herb, Albert; his sisters, Barbara, Laura, Lillian and Josephine; two siblings in infancy and several sisters and brothers-in-law.

    Mr. Litt was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Conestogo. He was a machinist by trade, served in the Army during the Second World War and was the Owner/Operator of Newton General Store.

    Mr. Litt's family will receive relatives and friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Conestogo on Thursday, March 21, 2002 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Dave Hammer officiating. A reception in the church fellowship hall will immediately follow the service. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens, Breslau.

    As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, Canadian Cancer Society or the St. Matthew's Church Fund and may be arranged through the funeral home at 745-8445 or www.edwardrgood.

    Oliver married Laurene Louise Pfanner 3 Feb 1940. Laurene (daughter of Martin S.     Joseph Litt

    CLIFFORD - Joseph Litt, 79, of Normanby Township, died Thursday of a heart seizure. He was stricken in the Ayton blacksmith shop. He was born Dec. 10, 1873. Mr. Litt farmed in Normanby Township until his retirement. He was a member of Ayton Lutheran Church. His wife, the former Elizabeth Russwurm, died a little more than a year ago. There are seven sons: Harry, Palmerston, Earl, Windsor, Joseph and Herbert both of Waterloo, Oliver, Kitchener, Alvin, Clifford, Lloyd, at home; five daughters: Mrs. Barbara McDowell, Wallace Township, Mrs. Ira (Laura) Demerling, Clifford, Mrs. William (Lillian) Dickert, Normanby Township, Mrs. John (Josephine) Summers, Waterloo, Mrs. Len (Florence) Schiel, Oakville. There is one brother, Solomon, Kitchener and a sister, Mrs. Annie Miskie, Chesley. The body is resting at Roluff's Funeral Chapel, Clifford, from whence the funeral will be held Monday at 1 p.m. followed by a service at Ayton Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. Rev. William Nolting, Ayton Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in Hanover Cemetery. The body is resting at the funeral home
