Beloved husband of Elizabeth (Betty) Sippel of Kitchener; loving father of Barbara (Mrs. Ray Lavigne); Cheryl Falconer and Debbie Weiler, all of Kitchener; brother of Helen (Mrs. E. Steckley) and Jerry Schmidt, both of Kitchener and Robert Schmidt of New Hamburg. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Andrew, Jamie, Spencer, Brandon and Matthew. Predeceased by his parents, Roy and Alice Schmidt.
Mr. Schmidt was employed with Inter-City Truck Lines for 39 years.
Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Wednesday (today) from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel on Friday, Oct. 3 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Eric Reble officiating. Interment Woodland cemetery.
