    Of RR 2, Cambridge (G), on Friday, Dec. 30, 1983, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Cleo Wanner; dear father of Orville of Drayton, Donald of RR 2, Cambridge (G), Shirley (Mrs. Richard Schiedel) of RR 31, Cambridge, Dorothy (Mrs. Harold Martin) of RR 2, Petersburg, Jean (Mrs. Terry Rickert) of RR 2, Petersburg. Also survived by one brother, Telford of Cambridge and two sisters, Mae (Mrs. Harvey Letson) and Frances (Mrs. Albert Stinson), both of Cambridge. Mr. Brodhaecker was predeceased by his first wife, Ethel Fried in 1974; one sister, Maude and a brother, Arthur. Surviving are 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Brodhaecker was born in the County of Wellington, West Luther township; had resided in North Dumfries township and RR 2, Cambridge (Galt) since 1927. A retired farmer, he had served on the North Drumfries school board for a number of years; a member of Grace United Church, Roseville, where he was superintendent of the Sunday school, for a number of years. Past president of the North Dumfries Plowmen's Association; past president of Dickie Settlement Home and School; a member of North Dumfries senior citizens and a member of the New Dundee senior citizens. Friends will be received at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, today (Saturday), 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be held at Grace United Church, Roseville, Sunday at 3 p.m. Interment in Roseville cemetery.

    Albert Brodhaecker

    PRESTON—Albert E. Brodhaecker 950 Coronation Blvd., Preston, died Monday at South Waterloo Hospital, Galt. He was 92. Mr. Brodhaecker was born at Ayton, Ont. He moved from Arthur in 1927 to Dickie Settlement where he farmed for many years. In 1931 he moved to Preston. He had lived retired for several years. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church. He was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters. Surviving are his wife the former Louisa Skerritt; three sons, Telford of Kitchener, Harry of RR 2, Galt and Arthur of Galt; three daughters, Mrs. Maude Crewson and Mrs. Albert (Frances) Stinson both of Preston and Mrs. Harvey (May) Letson of Galt; three sisters, Mrs. Leah Snelgrove of North Battleford, Sask, Mrs. Bertha Toby, of Grandora, Sask. and Mrs. Alex (Matilda) Crone, of Vancouver, nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home where funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 3: 30 p.m. Interment will be in Preston Park Lawn cemetery. Rev. Ian Fleming of St. Paul's United Church will officiate.
