Mrs. John A. Payne

GALT, service was conducted today at Little's Funeral Home, for Mrs. John A. Payne, of 41 Dudhope St., who died Saturday, at South Waterloo Hospital. She was 42. Mrs. Payne was the former Geraldine McCutcheon. Born in Galt, she had lived here all her life. She was a member of the Anglican church. She is survived by her husband; her mother, Mrs. Elsie McCutcheon of Galt; two sons, William and Kevin, both at home and one brother, James McCutcheon of Kitchener. She was predeceased by her father, William B. McCutcheon, in December, 1969. Rev. K. J. Conyard of Trinity Anglican Church conducted the service. Interment was in Mountview cemetery, Galt.

Formerly of Cathay Street, Cambridge, peacefully, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, on Friday, December 6, 1996, in her 94th year. Loving grandmother of James McCutcheon and Barb McCutcheon, Craig McCutcheon and his wife Nancy, Dean McCutcheon, Nancy McCutcheon, Bill Payne and his wife Brenda and Kevin Payne and his wife Susan, her daughter-in-law, Lorna Cooney and by 11 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, William, a son, James McCutcheon and a daughter, Geraldine Payne as well as her 3 brothers and 1 sister. Resting at the CORBETT FUNERAL HOME, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Monday, December 9, 1996, from 12: 30 p.m. to 1: 30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, at 1: 30 p.m. Interment in Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
