Frederick W. Wagner

GALT, Frederick William Wagner, RR 1, Galt, died Tuesday at South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, in Galt. He was 79. Born in Bruce County, he was a son of the late Charles and Katherine (Schaus) Wagner. He lived in Kitchener for four years, before moving to Galt, in 1936, and lived at RR 1, Galt, since 1955. Mr. Wagner was a butcher. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Galt. Surviving are his wife, the former Amelia Lantz; three daughters, Mrs. Lorne Katherine Reinhart and Mrs. Beatrice Rooke of Galt and Mrs. Reginald (Shirley) Franklin of Trenton; two sons, Nelson and Milton of Gait: two brothers, John and Alton Wagner of Kitchener: two sisters, Mrs. Eno (Laura) Wettlaufer of Kitchener and Mrs. Adam (Lillian) Lantz of Mitchell, 24 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. One daughter, Anna, predeceased him. The body is at the Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews St., Galt, where the funeral will be conducted, Friday, at 2 p.m., by Rev. Theodore Iseler of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in Mount View Cemetery, Galt.
