    HAINSWORTH, Elizabeth Maud (nee Price) - Passed away peacefully on January 28, 2008 in Parksville, B.C. Elizabeth was born in Swansea, Wales April 28, 1923. Joining the Women's Auxiliary Air Force at the advent of the Second World War, she met the love of her life in York, England, Canadian Airman Bill Hainsworth from Kitchener, Ont. They were married in Swansea, Wales February 14, 1944, the beginning of a wonderful marriage lasting more than 63 years. Elizabeth was very active in theatrics and ran her own business, Liz's Lingerie Shop in Vancouver, for many years. Her proudest accomplishment was being the co-founder of the Greater Vancouver Mining Women's Association, where she remained active for many years. Survived by her loving husband, Bill; two sons, Rob and George; three grandsons, Kaleeg, Shane and Michael, and five great-granddaughters, Ella, Heulwen, Madison, Avery and Bridget.
