    BOSHART, Delton S. Passed away peacefully in the presence of family on Friday, October 7, 2011 at his residence Nithview Community, New Hamburg. Delton owned and operated a dairy farm in Wilmot Township for many years. He was born 94 years ago in Wilmot Township and was the son of the late David K. and Magdalena (Steinman) Boshart. Beloved husband of the late Helen (Schwartzentruber) Boshart who predeceased him October 13, 2008. Loving father of Carol and Dave Schwartz, Cathy Knipfel all of Baden, Brenda and Al Atchison of Stratford, Jim and Wendy Boshart, Sue and Rick Erb all of New Hamburg, Joyce and Mark Schwartzentruber of New Dundee, Larry Boshart of Waterloo. Sadly missed by his 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Delton is also missed by his sister Alice Riehl of New Hamburg and sister-in-law Mary Schwartzentruber of New Hamburg. Delton was predeceased by his son-in-law Bill Knipfel, great-grandson Nicholas Atchison, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Elmer and Barbara Boshart, Ruby and John Miles, Floyd and Edna Boshart, Gerald Riehl, Ruth and Roy Schlegel, Earl and Marjorie Schwartzentruber and Paul Schwartzentruber. Delton was a member of Steinmann Mennonite Church, Baden and also a member of the Happy Farmers Harmonica Band. He loved making wood crafts for the Mennonite Relief Sale. Delton along with Helen spent many years nurturing foster children and he drove disabled students to school and workshops. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Monday, October 10, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. and again Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 11: 00 a.m. at Steinmann Mennonite Church, Baden with Pastor Myrna Miller Dyck and Pastor Steve Drudge officiating. Interment to follow in Steinmann Mennonite Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Steinmann Mennonite Church Building Fund or the House of Friendship.     Peacefully on Monday, October 13, 2008 at her residence, Nithview Home, New Hamburg. She was formerly of Wilmot Centre and was born 84 years ago in Wilmot Townhip a daughter of the late Christian & Mary (Jantzi) Schwartzentruber. She was a member of Steinmann Mennonite Church, R. R. # 2, Baden. Helen enjoyed gardening, cooking and mending as her hobbies. Helen loved to take care of and nurture a number of foster children. Beloved wife of Delton Boshart of Nithview Home, whom she married June 23, 1943. Loving mother of Carol & Dave Schwartz, Cathy & Bill Knipfel all of Baden, Brenda & Al Atchison of Stratford, Jim & Wendy Boshart, Sue & Rick Erb all of New Hamburg, Joyce & Mark Schwartzentruber of New Dundee, and Larry Boshart of Waterloo. Also missed by 19 grandchildren and 11 great grand children. Dear sister-in-law of Mary Schwartzentruber, Alice Riehl and Edna Boshart all of New Hamburg. Helen was predeceased by a great-grandson Nicholas Atchison, sister Ruth and Roy Schlegel, brothers Earl & Marjorie Schwartzentruber and Paul Schwartzentruber.     Steinman - Daniel H Steinman was born in Waterloo Co., Ont., April 26, 1857; died Feb. 22, 1935; aged 77 y. 9 m. 27 d. He had been ailing, more or less, over a period of two years. He was received into the Wilmot A.M. Church by water baptism on June 21, 1874, in which faith he remained to the end. On Nov. 6, 1883, he was united in holy matrimony to Barbara Gascho. Eleven children were born to them - 5 sons and 6 daughters, of whom 4 sons and 2 daughters predeceased him. On Dec. 10, 1893, he was ordained to the office of deacon, and on Nov. 3, 1894, to the ministry. On July 4, 1898, he was ordained to the office of bishop, in which office he served the Wilmot A.M. congregation as long as health permitted, and also in the neighboring congregations when necessary. In his ministry as bishop, he baptized 361 persons and performed 151 marriage ceremonies. He leaves his beloved companion, 2 sons, 4 daughters, 21 grandchildren, 1 brother, and 3 sisters. Funeral services were conducted at the Steinman Church near Baden on Feb. 26, by Bro. D. Lebold at the home, and by Bro. Nevin Bender of Delaware, Bro. Chris Schultz, and Bro. D. Iutzi. Interment in adjoining cemetery.

    DANIEL SCHWARTZENTRUBER

    Daniel Schwartzentruber, widower, died yesterday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Daniel Lichty, 105 Peter Street, after an illness of three months. He was 72. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christian Schwartzentruber, he was born at Petersburg. He attended the Amish Mennonite Church at St Agatha. His wife, formerly Barbara Erb, died in 1922.

    Surviving are two sons, Christian E. and Allen, of Petersburg, one daughter, Mrs. Daniel (Levina) Lichty, Kitchener; two brothers John, Petersburg, and Christian New Hamburg; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Three sisters, four brothers, and one son predeceased him.

    The funeral will be held Sunday from the home of his son Allen Schwartzentruber, Petersburg, a one o'clock and from thence to the Amish Mennonite Church, St Agatha, for service at two o'clock Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. The remains are resting at the home of his daughter, Mrs Daniel Lichty, 105 Peter Street, until nine o'clock Saturday morning when the removal will be made to the home of his son in Petersburg.

    PINE HILL. Dec 26 - Christian B. Jantzi, age 74. died suddenly at his home in Wilmot Centre on Sunday. Deceased was a pioneer resident of Wilmot township He was born and raised on the Jantzi homestead.

    Surviving are his wife, nee Barbara Wagler, two sons, Aaron of Wellesley and Allan on the homestead, one daughter. Mrs C. E. Swartzentruber of Petersburg. 11 grandchildren and one great-grand-child. A brother, John of Wilmot Centre and one sister Mattle, predeceased him.

    Funeral services will be held from his residence on Wednesday morning at 9:30 am to Steinman's Amish Mennonite church, Baden, with interment in Wilmot Centre Cemetery.

    WILMOT CENTRE Mrs. Christian B.. Jantzi, 85, of RR 2. Petersburg, died at her, home last night. She had been ill for four months.

    The former Barbara Wagler, she was born in Wilmot township, July 6, 1869, a daughter of the late Christian Wagler and Magdalene Zehr. Her husband predeceased her in 1939. She was a member of Steinman Amish Mennonite Church, near Baden. Surviving are two sons, Allan, at home; Aaron W., Wellesley; a daughter, Mrs. C. E. (Mary) Schwartzentruber, RR 2. Petersburg; a sister, Mrs. Jonathan (Mary) Jantzi, Kitchener; 11 grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren.

    The body is at the Futher- Omand Funeral Home, New Hamburg, until 3 p.m. today when removal will be made to the residence where a short serv- ice will be conducted Monday at 1:30 p.m. It will be followed by a memorial service at Steinman Church at 2:15 p.m. Interment will be in Wilmot Centre Cemetery. Bishop Orland Gingerich will officiate.
