    MARWOOD J. BAILEY.

At an early hour Friday morning roomers in the apartments above the. offices of the Water Commission on Queen Street north were disturbed by moaning in one of the rooms. As it continued for some time an effort was made to enter the room to aid the sufferer but it was not until after the door was broken down that an entrance could be effected.

Within, a man who is believed to be William Bailey, was found lying on the floor in an unconscious condition. Dr. Hett was called and the man was removed to the hospital where he died shortly after arrival. As far as can be ascertained the man has no relatives in this vicinity and little is known of him here.

The unknown man who was found in a dying condition in his room over the offices of the Water Commission Friday morning and who died later af the K.-W. Hospital was later identfied as Marwood J. Bailey. Deceased was 58 years of age. The first reports that the man died as a result of taking poison it is understood have been proven to be false as a result of the post mortem examination performed on the body. The examination revealed that the man died of gall stones. The remains were taken to Bowmanville Saturday afternoon, where interment was made. Deceased is survived by his wife, one daughter Mrs. K. D. Moyer, Saskatoon ------ Kitchener. Mrs Bailey is at present on a visit to daughter her in Saskatoon.
