Pat Schmidt of Durham and formerly of Kitchener. Daughter of Harry and Caroline Homeniuk of Cambridge. Beloved wife of William Schmidt for 38 years. Mother of Dawn (Steve) Spino of Kitchener and Cindy Dorner of Harriston. Much loved grandmother of Lacy Schmidt and Travis Taylor of Hanover, and Blake, Amber and Cole Spino of Kitchener. Great-grandmother of Padin of Hanover. Sister of Harry Jr. (MaryAnn) of Cambridge. Daughter-in-law of Ward and JoAnne Schmidt of Hanover and Jean Schmidt of Kitchener. Also survived by numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Mike. A memorial service will be held at St. James Lutheran Church, Mannheim, on Friday, July 18, 2008, at 11 a.m. Interment in St. James Cemetery.     HOMENIUK, Harry Sr. Passed away peacefully at Lisaard House on Thursday, March 17, 2011. Harry was the beloved father of Harry Jr. and his wife Maryanne. Loving grandfather of Cindy Doerner, Dawn Spino (Steve), Karen Homeniuk (Jamie), Christine Carver (Tim), Scott Cook (Jessica) and Karrie Minken (Brett). Special great- grandfather of Lacey Schmidt, Travis Taylor, Blake, Cole and Amber Spino, Mark Homeniuk, and Alexander Carver. Great-great-grand father of Paiden Fidler. Dear brother of John Homeniuk (Chris) and Thelma Hilts. Harry will also be remembered by his son-in-law Bill Schmidt, brother-in-law Murray Goldbeck (Clara) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Caroline, daughter Patricia, son Michael and grandson Harry Homeniuk. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church (583 Eagle Street, Cambridge) on Thursday, March 24 at 10:30 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Lisaard House or SPCA would be appreciated by the family.

Lovingly remembered by her husband, Harry; son, Harry Jr. and his wife Maryanne. Predeceased by daughter, Patricia; son, Mike; and grandson, Harry Mark.     LINWOOD, JAN. 31-After a comparatively short illness, the death occurred at his home Friday morning of Christian Frederick Schleuter, a prominent resident, of Linwood, in his 59th year. Only a week ago the late Mr. Schleuter contracted influenza. Born in Linwood he spent his entire life there, and was widely known in the surrounding district. He was married 28 years ago. He was a valued member of the Lutheran Church where he was a trustee for 12 years. At the time of his death he was a member of the public school board. His widow and seven sons, survive: William, New Hamburg; Alvin and Harvey, Wellesley; Edward, St. Clements, Clayton, Clarence and Walter, at home, and five daughters, Marys Violet, Viola, Della and. Norma, all at home; two sisters and six brothers also survive: Mrs. Steph Duench Linwood; Mrs Jacob Fries, Heidelberg: Herman, Menno, Henry, John, August, of Linwood and Charles of Elmira.

    The funeral was held on Monday afternoon. Rev. Mr. Pfeiffer of SL. Peter's Lutheran Church conducted the service.

    Mrs. Bundscho was predeceased In 1929 by her first husband, Christian F. Schlueter, to whom she was married in 1901. Her second husband, George Bundscho died in 1950.

    Surviving is also a son, Edward of St. Jacobs.
