    PRESTON Sept. 7 - Ailing for the past three years, Alice May Grumble, wife of Alfred Drake died at her home here early Monday morning at the age of 36 years. Born in Toronto, Mrs. Drake came to Preston in 1915 and resided here since that time. She was a member of St. John's Anglican Church. Surviving are her husband, two sons, John Alfred and Albert Edward and two daughters, Joan and Alice, all of Preston, one brother, Robert Grumble, overseas, and a sister, Mrs. Fred Schmiedendort, Breslau Road. The remains are resting at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2: 30. Interment will be in Preston Cemetery .
