HAGAR, Dorothy Sophia

Passed away at Burloak Long Term Care Centre, Burlington on Sunday, January 26, 2014, at the age of 92 years. Loving wife of Ken for 59 years, predeceased in May 2004. She leaves behind sons Myles of Linan, China and Mark and his wife Kathy of Carlisle, grandchildren, Greg (Karrie), Sarah (Chris), Jenna, Hilary and Luke and great-grandchildren, Iris, Julian, Stella, Silas and Solomon. Last surviving sibling of brothers, Harold, Orville, Gerald and Gilford and sister, Rhea. Survived by in-laws, Ruth Henderson, Eleeta Frewin, Elma Hagar, Aubrey and June Hagar, Dorothy Roberts and Eleanor Hagar. She will be remembered for her love of painting, sense of humour and good cooking. Thanks to Burloak LTC for their loving and compassionate care. Friends may visit with the family at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Wednesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at KNOX PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 80 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Thursday, January 30, 2014, at 1 p.m., Rev. George Robertson officiating. Reception to follow. Interment, Mountview Cemetery, Cambridge.
