    WRIGHT, Mrs. J. Leslie On Monday. August 29. 1977. at K-W Hospital. Lilly Rosger. beloved wife of J. Leslie Wright, of 25 Kildeer Rd.. Elmira. aged 78 years, formerly of Dorking. Dear mother of Mrs. Grant (Velma) Jackson and Mrs. Grant (Lorraine) Lambert, both of Elmira. Four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. Five brothers and three sisters predeceas-ed her. The body rested at the Dreisinger Funeral Par-lour in Elmira. Funeral service was held in the chapel on Wednesday, Au-gust 31. Interment followed in the Elmira cemetery.

    JULIUS ROSGER

    The death of Julius Rosger, 87, one of Linwood's oldest residents occurred on Tursday, January 25th. Mr. Rosger had been seriously ill for a week. Born in Germany in 1858, Mr. Rosger came to Canada in 1880 and took up residence at that time at Ancaster. Following his marriage to the former Mary Dorothy Gilbert 57 years ago, he moved to Germania, Muskoka, where for a number of years he was postmaster, storekeeper and mail carrier. He later took up residence in Dorking and nine years ago moved to Linwood. In 1938 he celebrated his golden wedding anniversary. His wife predeceased him the following year. The deceased was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Surviving are three sons, Frederick, of Gladstone, Man.; Clarence of Port Stanley and Wesley at home; four daughters, Mrs. George (Selma) Johnson, Vancouver; Mrs. Leslie (Lilian) Wright, Dorking; Mrs. Archie (Hilda) Ament, Linwood, and Miss Anne Rosger, Detroit. Two sons predeceased him.

    MRS. JULIUS ROSGER

    Failing to rally from a stroke suffered early Wednesday, May 3, Mrs. Julius Rosger, 70, died at her home here. Mrs. Rosger suffered a stroke last week but was believed to have recovered from its effects. She was born July 2, 1868, in Graper township in Muskoka district, a daughter of Mrs. Catherine Gilbert and the late George Gilbert. Mr. and Mrs. Rosger would have observed their 51st wedding anniversary on Tuesday if the latter had survived. The deceased lived at Dorking before coming to Linwood three years ago. She attended St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Linwood. Besides her husband, there survives her mother, Mrs. Catharine Gilbert of Germania, Muskoka district; four sons, Fred and Ernest of Gladstone, Man.; Wesley, at home; Clarence, Tilbury; four daughters, Mrs. George Johnson, Winnipeg; Mrs. Leslie Wright, Dorking, Mrs. A. Ament, Linwood, and Miss Anna Rosger, Detroit. Also surviving are four sisters, Miss Maggie Gilbert, of Germania, Mrs. J. J. Bailey, Huntsville, Mrs. Charles Barnes of Bracebridge, and Mrs. Emma Soeder of Stratford. The deceased had ten grandchildren. One son predeceased her. Private funeral services for Mrs. Rosger will be held at two o'clock Friday afternoon at the house, followed by public services at St. Peter's Lutheran Church at 2.30. Rev. W. Schultz will officiate. Interment will be in the Lutheran Cemetery.
