- ANDERSON, James "Jim"-Died suddenly, on Wednesday, September 19, 2001, at the age of 33 years.
Jim was the loving husband of Cindy (nee McPhail) and the proud father of Cailean and Ian of Waterloo. He was the beloved son of Sandra and the late Edwin Anderson. The caring brother of Steve Anderson and his wife Tricia (and proud uncle of their new son, Wesley), all of Waterloo and Ron Anderson of Toronto. Jim is survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Doug and Pat McPhail of Waterloo; brother-in-law, Glenn McPhail and his friend Amanda. Also survived by grandmother, Marg Eby and grandparents, Flo and Lou Aumais; godson, Mitchell Eeley and special friend, Lauren Delion.
Jim was VP at Arca Financial Group Inc. He was involved in many areas of the K-W Community including the Kitchener Conestoga Rotary Club. His children also had the benefit of his coaching in both Waterloo minor hockey and soccer leagues.
Jim was a kind, fun-loving generous man, who regularly lit up the face of every child in his circle. He was a caring friend who supported so many with his genuine compassion and wit.
Jim's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St S., Waterloo, 745-8445 on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2001 from 1-5 p.m. The celebration of Jim's life will be held at Waterloo Mennonite Brethren Church, 245 Lexington Rd., Waterloo, on Monday, September 24, 2001 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Paul Ellingham officiating. Immediately following the service, there will be a reception at the church.
