- Denstedt, Stanley Holschuh - On Wednesday, Dec. 18, 1991, at Palmerston Hospital, Stanley Denstedt, aged 75 years, of RR 3, Listowel, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Linwood and had served on the former St. John's Lutheran Church Board, Hesson. He was a member of the Waterloo Rod & Gun Club, had served on the Maryborough township council, the Listowel District High School Board and the Dorking Public School USS No. 20 Board. Stanley was a retired farmer and part owner of the former Denstedt Tile. Drainage, with his two sons, Barry and Gaye for several years. In his retirement years he enjoyed gardening and woodworking.
Beloved husband of the late Blanche Voll, who predeceased him in 1975. Dear father of Myrna and her husband Lorne Leis of Elmira, Barry and his wife Beth of Moorefield, Karen and her husband Mark Jutzi of New Hamburg, Randy and his wife Joey of RR 2, Alma and Cindy and her husband Jerry Ropp of Milverton. A son, Gaye predeceased him in 1979. He is fondly remembered by a daughter-in-law, Sherry Denstedt and her friend Maurice Bisson of RR 4, Arthur; his grandchildren, Lorrie and her husband Dan Plein, Jarrod, Krista, Kerri, Brent, Trevor and his wife Ellen, Traci and her husband Trevor Goetz, Matthew, Stanley, Jessica, Mandl and Jordan and two great-grandchildren, Danielle and Jake. He is survived by his second wife, Elaine and two brothers, Clarence of Maryhill and Harold of Milverton.
He was predeceased by his parents, the late William Denstedt and Regina Holzschuh; one brother, Fred; five step-brothers and four step-sisters. Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 9 Pacific Ave., Milverton, after 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19 and until Saturday at noon when transfer will be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Linwood, for service at 1': 30 p.m. with Rev. David Lowe officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Linwood.
