  BAIRD, Robert Peacefully, at his home. in New Dundee, on Monday, Dec. 11, 1995, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Jean Baird (Day) loving father of Margaret Pearson and her husband Murray of Peterborough and Joan Tarbutt and her husband Vernon of Kitchener; dear grandfather of Graham and Matthew Pearson. Survived by family members. Isabel and Russell Hallman of Bright. Agnes and George Reist of Kitchener. Hazel Baird of Woodstock, Ken and Anna Smith of Plattsville. Kay Meadows of Stratford. Margaret Kittmer of Stratford. Predeceased by his brother. Thomas and sisters, Margaret Smith, Jean Cox. Ruth Baird and Faith Neudoerffer. Bob will be remembered for his strong. quiet attitude which was reflected in his commitments to family, friends and community. He was a long standing member of the New Dundee United Brethren in Christ Church, a volunteer for the local fire department and a proud member of the New Dundee Board of Trade. The family will receive friends at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa St. S. (at Westmount Road). Kitchener, today (Wednesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at New Dundee United Brethren in Christ Church on Thursday, Dec. 14 at 2 p.m. Interment Chesterfield United Church Cemetery.
