  Death of an Old Resident The many friends of Mr. Alex Lithgow, of Guelph, will regret to hear of his death which occurred in Guelph early on Wednesday morning. Mr. Lithgow has been in failing health for some months, his disease being supposed to be internal cancer. He was very well known and very much respected in Galt. He was a brother-in-law of Mr. Thomas Chisholm, assessor, North Dumfries.
