  Frederick W. Leiskau WELLESLEY, Frederick W. Leiskau, 82, died last night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harley Herner, Baden, after a brief illness. A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Leiskau, he was born in Germany and came to Canada with his parents when a child. He has lived in Baden ever since and for 57 years was an employee of the Dominion Linseed Oil Company. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. His wife, the former Amelia Miller, died 10 years ago. Surviving are two sons, Harry and Clarence, Baden; two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Olive) Diebel and Mrs. Harley (Ruth) Herner, both of Baden; two brothers, Godfried, Baden and William, Kitchener. Also surviving are six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The body will rest at the Futher Funeral home, Wellesley, until 3 p.m. Thursday, when removal will be made to the home of Mrs. Harley Herner, Baden, where a private service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. A public service will follow at the Livingston Presbyterian Church at 2: 30 p.m. where Rev. B. Johnson of the New Hamburg Lutheran Church will conduct a funeral service. Interment will be made in the Fairmount Cemetery The Kitchener-Waterloo Record 14 Jan 1953
