      Mrs. Thomson's Funeral       - The remains of the late Mrs. Herbert Thomson of Newdale, Man., accompanied by her husband, arrived here on Wednesday evening and were interred in Ayr cemetery on Thursday afternoon. Notwithstanding very inclement weather, the attendance was fairly large, a number of friends and relatives from outside points paying their last tribute of love and respect to the memory of the deceased. The pallbearers were Messrs. Wm. Riddell, Geo. Mitchell, Jas. Bell, Geo. Cress, jr., Chas. Conochie and Wm. H. Kenspeer. The services were conducted jointly by Rev. D I. Ellison and Rev. John Thomson.
