    • BAST, Mrs. Rosetta Mae On Monday, Jan. 14, 1991, at her residence, Nithview Home, New Hamburg. She was formerly of Baden and was born in Blandford township 74 years ago, a daughter of the late Aaron R. Helmuth and the former Barbara Jantzi. She was a member of the Steinman Mennonite Church, RR 2, Baden and enjoyed gardening and needlecraft as her hobbies. Also had been a volunteer at Nithview Home. Beloved wife of the late John Bast who predeceased her June 14, 1983. Lovingly remembered by three children, Floris and her husband Michael Kristoff, Harry and Gloria, Iris and her husband Gregor Wagner, all of Kitchener. Sadly missed by six grandchildren, Angela, Daryl, Kevin, Terence, James and Melissa; two brothers, Elroy and his wife Margaret of Stratford, Willis (Bill) and his wife Martha of Oshawa; two sisters, Ruby and her husband Lloyd Schmidt of Kitchener, Magdalena and her husband Orville Einwechter of New Dundee. Predeceased by one brother, Stanley and his wife Mary. Friends and relatives called at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, until Thursday, Jan. 17, 1991 at noon, when transfer was made to the Steinman Mennonite Church for the service at 2 p.m., with Pastor Fred Lichti and Rev. Vernon Zehr officiating. Spring interment in the church cemetery. As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Steinman Mennonite Church or the Canadian Cancer Society.
