    • Fanny Jane Dobson

      Funeral services for Fanny Jane Dobson were held Friday, Aug. 13. from St. Matthew's Church at Ancrum, near Bradwardine. Interment was in the Ancrum cemetery, with Rev. A. J. Middleditch of Rivers officiating. Born in Wilmot township, Waterloo County. Ont., in 1880, the deceased came to the Harding Bradwardine district as a child and lived in the area for her full life. Married to Richard Dobson at Hamiota in 1906, Mrs. Dobson was active in several organizations during the years she farmed with her husband north of Bradwardine. She received a life membership from St. Matthew's WA, was a member of the WI at Rivers and a former district president of the society. Mrs. Dobson was also a very active Red Cross worker until the time of her death. Predeceased by her husband on July 15, Mrs. Dobson is survived by a son, Tom of Flin Flon, and three grandchildren.
