  Thief Suffers Theft Which Ends His Jaunt Preston, Ont., March 14 \endash The story of how a resident of nearby Hespeler stole $238 from the Hespeler theatre, went to Montreal on a pleasure jaunt and had the money stolen from him while he was enjoying a bath in his hotel room was unfolded in police court today. Charles H. McNamara pleaded guilty to a charge of stealing the money and police presented in court a signed statement he gave them telling about the theft from him in Montreal. After the Montreal incident, McNamara returned to Hespeler and gave himself up to police. He was remanded a week for sentence. Montreal Gazette 15 Mar 1946
