Notes |
- Died Elmira Mr. Henry Weidenhammer, of this town, has met with a severe affliction in the loss of his wife, who died at the residence of her mother in Elmira, on Tuesday last. The deceased lady had taken her family to her mother's about a fortnight ago with a view to hasten the recovery of two of her children, who had had the fever. Shortly after their arrival, Mrs. Weidenhammer was taken down with the fever, and being much weakened through nursing her family, she became an easy victim, and expired on Tuesday. Our townsman is deeply sympathized with in his heavy loss.
