  Died, At her residence, Lot No. 38, 3rd Concession, South Dumfries, on Monday evening, the 16th Inst., at 9 o'clock, Jessie, Wife of Malcolm Folsetter, South Dumfries, Aged 68 Years and 6 Months. The Funeral Will take place on Thursday, the 19th Inst., at 2 p.m., from her late residence to the place of interment, Paris Cemetery. Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend. South Dumfries, 17th June, 1879. Waterloo Historical Society Death Notices Collection - photocopies _____________________________ SUDDEN DEATH IN S. DUMFRIES - We regret to announce this week the sudden death of Jessie, wife of Mr. Malcolm Folsetter of S. Dumfries, which took place suddenly on Monday 16th inst. Deceased had been troubled for some time past with that dangerous malady, heart disease, by which she was frequently prostrated. For a few days previous to her death she had been complaining but on Monday she appeared to be fully better than usual until 6 pm when an attack set in which ended as above. Mrs. Folsetter was a native of Stirlingshire, Scotland. She came to this county the year before the rebellion of '37 and resided in Hamilton. ON her marriage in 1849 she removed with her husband to the place on which she ended her days. She was much esteemed and her loss is sadly mourned. Galt Reporter Jun 27 1879 pg 2
