  On the evening of January 11th there died here, as noted in last issue, Nelda Letitia, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Schaefer, at the age of 4 years, 7 months and 28 days. The interment took place on the afternoon of January 12th, on the Lutheran cemetery, Rev. O. Liuke[?] officiating. The sorrowing parents have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad bereavement. Newpaper unknown ___________ Zum Andenken an Nelda Letitia Schaefer, Tochter von David Schaefer und Frau, Gestorben am 11 Januar 1906 in St. Jacobs. Beerdigt 12 Januar. Leichenpredigt 28. Januar. Alter 4 Jahre, 7 Monate und 28 Tage. "Ich liege und schlafe ganz mit frieden; denn allein Du, Herr, hilfst mir, dass ich sicher wohne." [Translation: In Memory of Nelda Letitia Schaefer daughter of David Schaefer and wife died the 11th of January 1906 in St. Jacobs. Funeral 12th of January.
