  BEFURT, George -- At St. Joseph's Hospital, London, Ont., on Monday, May 17, 1982, after long suffering, George Befurt, age 72 years, of 323 Bayfield St., London, formerly of Kitchener. Beloved husband of the former Katharina Peiffer; dear father of Wilhelm and his wife Margarete of RR 1, Ethel and Mrs. Elizabeth Sebastian of London. Seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive. Predeceased by his parents. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 7 p.m., today. Funeral service in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel on Wednesday at 2: 30 p.m. with Rev S. J. Wittig officiating. Interment Woodland cemetery. The Kitchener-Waterloo Record 18 May 1982
