  Mrs. Elizabeth Becker Ottawa, July 27 Mrs. Elizabeth Becker died here yesterday at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Harry J. Hutchinson. Death followed an illness of five months. She was born in North Easthope, and attended St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. The deceased was the daughter of the late Conrad Wettlaufer and the former Margaret Fowler [sic]. Her husband, the late John Becker, predeceased her July 1, 1939. There are three sons, Roy of San Pedro, Calif., Arthur of Toronto and Raymond of Welland, and two daughters, Mrs. Harry J. Hutchinson of Ottawa and Mrs. P.S. Elsasser of Oceanside, Long Island, N.Y. She was the last survivor of the family. There will be a public funeral service tomorrow at the Schreiter Sandrock funeral home at 3 p.m. Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery. The body will be resting at the funeral home from 10 p.m. Wednesday until the funeral. Kitchener-Waterloo Record, July 27, 1948
