  DORSCH, Nelson - Peacefully passed into the Lord's presence on Monday, July 6, 2009 at Forest Heights Long Term Care Centre, Kitchener. Nelson formerly resided in New Hamburg and was born 85 years ago in North Easthope Township. He was the son of the late Archie and Emma (Schmidt) Dorsch. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (Betty) (Macdonald) Dorsch whom he married April 8, 1950. Loving father of Rod Dorsch (Julia) of Guelph and Ginny Wold (Kent) of Parkhill. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Nathan Dorsch (Rachel), Tim Dorsch (Des), Jeff Good (Maria), Matthew Good (Cheryl), Jonathan Good, Shane Wold, AJ Wold (Kari), Josiah Wold (Meghan), Ian Wold and great-grandsons, Alex, AJ II and Jediah. Also remembered by brothers, Lorne (Grace) Dorsch of Lindsay, Victor (Viola) Dorsch; sister, Ruth Dorsch, all of New Hamburg and sisters-in-law, Flora Thompson of Tillsonburg and Jean (Ron) Delroy of Calgary. Nelson was predeceased by son-in-law, Bruce Good; grandson, Greg Dorsch; sisters and brothers, Reuben (Ada) Dorsch, Esther (Joe) Shantz, Alice (Louis) Lingelbach, Carl Dorsch, Harold (Helen) Dorsch, Violet (Walter) Cooper, and Emerson (Ada) Dorsch. Nelson was a founding and active member of Wellesley Alliance Church. He was a wise and gentle individual that cared deeply, who was locally known as the "Fuller Brush Man" for over forty years. Family and friends are invited to share their memories at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Thursday, July 9, 2009 from 2 - 4 and 6: 30 - 8: 30 p.m. The service to celebrate Nelson's life will take place on Friday, July 10, 2009 at 10: 30 a.m. at the Wellesley Alliance Church with Pastor Doug Allen officiating and Rev. Ted Losch assisting. Interment will follow the time of refreshments at Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg.
