    • Mrs. Susan Ostby, 91, pioneer resident of Copley Township, east of Bagley, died at the Clearwater Memorial Hospital, Bagley, Wednesday, October 11. Born in Canada November 8, 1880, she moved with her parents to Perley, Minnesota as a young child and later to Ada where she was married to Oliver Ostby in 1895. They lived in Winger and at Erskine before moving to Copley Township in 1900. Survivors include three sons, Roy, Henning and James Ostby of Bagley; two daughters, Mrs. S. J. Jackson (Katherine) of Gonvick and Mrs. Arthur Mock (Pearl) of Bemidji; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Mr. Ostby died in 1940. She was also predeceased by her parents, two sons, two brothers and ten sisters. Funeral services were held at the Cease Chapel in Bagley Saturday at 1 p.m. The Rev. Burrell Bentz officiated with burial in the Bagley City Cemetery.
