- BARRETT, HENRY MERRILL was a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, class of 1912. He was listed in Galt and the Galt Reporter for December 31, 1913 comments that he had gone to Walkerton to spend New Years.
He joined the army medical corps in 1915, serving overseas until May 1919. After the war he practised in Mount Elgin until the time of his death on March 19, 1935. He was survived by his widow and four children.
