    • Services will be held on Saturday at 2 pm. from the Stone Funeral Home for Mrs Ida Gix Hinkle, 80, who died unexpectedly yesterday, at the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs Marie Gix, at Pontiac. Rev. Lloyd Brasuer will be assisted by Rev. T. F. Gabler at the services.. Mrs Hinkle lived at 209/2 Howard Street, Petoskey. An Eastern Star funeral is being planned. She is a past worthy matron. She was born June 08, 1879 in Canada, and was married to Mr. A. D. Hinkle in Detroit on May 09 1923. For many years the couple operated a dry cleaning business here. Hr. Hinkle preceeded her in death in 1951. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include three nieces. The body will arrive late this afternoon, at the Stone Funeral Home, where friends may call. Internment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

      August D. Hinkle Dies in Pontiac. Funeral Services for August D. Hinkle, 77, of 209 Howard Street, who died this morning at the home of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Ralph Gix, in Pontiac, will be held from the Stone Funeral Home at 2: 30 pm. Tuesday. The Rev. Lloyd Brasure will be in charge. Mr. & Mrs Hinkle were en route to Florida when Mr. Hinkle became ill. Mr. Hinkle was born March 09 1873, in Orangeburg, SC. On May 09 1923, he married Miss Ida Mae Gix in Detroit. They have made their home in Petoskey for 28 years. Me Hinkle formerly operated a dry cleaning establishment here. He is survived by his wife, a sister, Mrs Ann Antley of Cope, SC., and a brother John Hinkle of Bowman SC. Burial will be in Greenwood Cem.
