  Mrs. Hannah Bender, 83, formerly of Listowel, died Tuesday, July 21st, after a short illness in Brussels. Born in Wallace Tp., she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.Christian Biehn. She was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church...... Milverton Sun obit, July 23, 1959 _______________ "Mrs. Hannah Bender, 83, formerly of Listowel, died today after a short illness in Brussels. Born in Wallace tp., she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christian Biehn. She was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church. She was predeceased by her husband John Bender. Surviving are a son, Clarence of Listowel; three daughters, Miss Susan Bender of Kitchener, Mrs. Walter (Violet) Denstedt of Listowel and Mrs. Harold (Edna) Koch of Gowanstown; a brother Ezra of Listowel; two sisters, Mrs. Susan Weir of Milverton and Mrs. Barbara Kunkel of Davidson, Sask., 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren...."
