- TOTZKE, HOWARD - Of Grand Bend, passed away peacefully, at South Huron Hospital (Exeter), on Thursday, February 21, 2008. He was in his 86th year. Howard was the well known proprietor of Waterloo Bowling Lanes for over 45 years until his retirement. He is survived by his brother, Lloyd and his wife Carol of Waterloo; his sister-in-law, Martha Totzke of Waterloo; nieces and nephews and their families, Laurie Kitchen and Jenny Schmidt of Kitchener, Alan Totzke and John Totzke of Waterloo, Heather Kyle of St. Catharines and Stephen Totzke of Delta, B.C. Howard is also remembered by his special friends, Gerry Roeder of Waterloo and Fadhil Askar of Grand Bend. Predeceased by his parents, Oscar and Ada; his brother, Bob; sister, Eunice and niece, Marilyn Waters. Howard was also a member of the Army for three years in the Second World War, serving in various Ontario postings. At Howard's request, there will be no visitation or service.
