- DEATH OF MRS. HARRY SCHADE
The sad news was received by the Schade family yesterday morning of the death at her home in Manchester, of Mrs. Harry Schade, wife of the King street grocer, the immediate cause of death being galloping consumption. Some three months ago Mrs. Schade contracted a severe cold, which is thought to bave been the cause of this insidious disease. Thinking that a change might be beneficial she went to visit at her home in Manchester a couple of months ago. Shortly after arriving there she was taken to her bed and on Monday morning her husband left for his wife's dying. bedside in answer to a summons. She expired on Tuesday evening. The remains are expected to arrive here to day and the funeral will in all pro ability take place to-morrow afternoon. Mrs. Schade's maiden name was Sadie Spence, being a daughter of of Mr. W. Spence. She had a fine disposition, was bright intellectually and well educated. She leaves a mourning husband, father and mother, and five brothers and sisters, viz: John, teacher in public school, Toronto; Robert, Pt. Ferry; William, Manitoba; Frankie, teacher of Moderns at Peterboro Collegiate Institute; Nellie, teacher at Parkdale Collegiate, and Maud, a trained nurse at home. The CHRONICLE extends ita sympathy to the bereaved ones.
