    • MYRON A. STEVANUS 1922 - 2005 Passed away with his family at his side, on Tuesday, November 29, 2005, at the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, at the age of 83. Loving husband of Doras (nee Dedels) for 59 years. Father of Bruce and his wife Sherrill, Ron, Dale and his wife Linda, Peter and his wife Wendy of Florida, and Glenn and his wife Beverly. Proud grandfather of Tyler, Aaron, Natalie, Brent, Nicholas, Jeffery, Jennifer, Andrew, and Bradley. Survived by his brothers Paul of Florida, and Richard and his wife Diane of RR1, Breslau, and sister Grace Shantz and her husband Mervin of St. Jacobs. Predeceased by his parents Howard and Lizzie Ann Stevanus, and sisters Mary Schiedel and Ethel Snider. Myron was a lifetime member of Bloomingdale Mennonite Church and actively served his faith and community through the Woolwich Community Health Centre, and volunteered at the St. Jacob's Mennonite Museum and Visitors Centre, as well as many others. Friends are invited to share their memories of Myron with his family during visitation at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, tonight (Thursday) from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Myron's life and faith will be held at Bloomingdale Mennonite Church, 1151 Snyder's Flats Rd., Bloomingdale, on Saturday, December 3, 2005 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Mary Mae Schwartzentruber officiating. Interment in Bloomingdale Mennonite Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Myron's memory to the Grand River Hospital-Dialysis Unit, or the Mennonite Central Committee and can be arranged through the funeral home.
