  ASHMAN, John Cudney (Jack) - Formerly of London, Ontario. Peacefully at Riverbend Place, Cambridge on Sunday March 21, 1993. John Cudney (Jack) Ashman in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Betty (Scott) Ashman of Cambridge, loved father of Jim and his wife Barbara of Guelph, dear grandfather of Scott and David. Dear brother of Helen Fielding of London. Mr. Ashman served with the Royal Canadian Engineers during W.W. II and was a Veteran of the Dieppe Raid. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 252 Dublin Street, North Guelph where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday March 24, 1993 with Reverend John Butters of Harcourt United Church, Guelph officiating at 2 p.m. Private Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London. The family will receive their friends on Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday afternoon from 1-2 p.m. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
