  Peacefully, on May 6, after a brief illness, at Sterling Heights Long Term Care facility, at the age of 82. Predeceased by her husband, George Gingrich (2011). Dear Mother of Jon Gingrich (Brenda), Barbara Milmine (Ron), and Stephen Gingrich (Jeanine). Loving Nana to Laurie, Kendra, Joanna, Karl, Georgia, Stevie, Caldon and two great grandchildren, Lunden and Lola. Joan was well known in the Cambridge community, where she worked as a bank teller for 25 years for Canada Trust (now BMO), at Main St., Galt. Acknowledged throughout her life for her beautiful gardens, her interests included various crafts, knitting, curling, and travel. Joan took on new challenges later in life, including going back to school and obtaining her real estate license, eventually working for Century 21 (Peace and Watson) until her retirement. Following Joan's wishes, cremation has already taken place. Joan's family will receive friends at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge (519-621-1650) on Tuesday May 13, 2014 from 1pm - 3pm with a Memorial Service to immediately follow at 3pm. Special thanks go out to the entire staff at Stirling Heights (Blair House) for their ongoing care and professionalism.
