    • PIONEER OF MCKILLOP.- John S. Brown, a widely-known farmer of McKillop Township, died at his home near Seaforth Thursday night after an illness of some months. He was 77 years of age and was born in the North of Ireland, coming to this country when but a small lad. He leaves a widow and three sons, John L. and Alfred, of McKillop, and Joseph, of Hullett Township. The funeral took place on Saturday to the Harpurhey cemetery.
